Lovingly known at home as “Manny”, is our Drum registered Gypsy Shire. His color is bay, he weighs 1400lbs, and stands at 15.3. Manny is the making of an all around horse. He is mighty and kind. Currently 7 years old, Manny has been used around the ranch. His resume includes mountain riding, calving, branding, doctoring, leading the pack string, sorting, and more. If you need to go rope any size of critter, he’s your guy. Big bulls and cows are no match for him. With his size and strength, he handles them with ease. Not interested in using him for ranch work? Manny is wonderful on the trail. Good to cross water and logs. He is a family friendly guy. We have enjoyed Manny’s smoothness. His big feathery feet hit the ground soft. Regardless of the gait you’re riding him in, he is easy on the body. Manny has been a delight to our family. He is easy to catch, great to shoe, loads in any trailer well. Most importantly, he has been safe and kind around anyone he’s met. We have been grateful to have this special guy in our string. We hope he will bring as much joy to his new home as he has to ours.
