Romeo has been a working ranch horse and it really shows. He has that "can do" attitude. He'll ride up any mountain you point him at. Enjoys exploring solo or with others.
He's been to town and in parades. Not bothered by new places and hauls like a dream.
Romeo really shines in the arena too! Western or English. He took to dressage really well. Collects up nicely, lopes off easily on correct leads. Well balanced on both sides. Lovely jog or extended trot. Leg yields, side passes, neck reins, pivots etc. He's the perfect size at 15'1 he can carry any size rider, but still easy to tack up and get on.
On the ranch he's drug calves, sorted, and doctored. He was super helpful to use starting our colts. He's calm and cool but strong when you need him.
Always gentle and stays broke even with time off. His ground manners are Impeccable. Stands like a statue and loves to be groomed. Bathes, shoes, clips, blowdrys etc. A gentleman for the farrier and vet. He's low maintenance, happy is a stall or out with others. He gets along nicely with all our horses.
