SAFE, SAFE, SAFE, Hoss is a true gentle giant! This 8-year-old, 16-hand buckskin gelding is as honest as they come. He's the kind you can trust with experienced youth riders, novice adults, or anyone just looking for a dependable horse to enjoy. We've used Hoss in the arena as a lesson horse for both Western and English riding, and he's just as happy packing someone down the trail. He'll step over deadfall, pick his way through rough country, cross water without a fuss, and goes wherever you point him with a willing attitude. One of Hoss's highlights was a trip into the Uintah’s this spring before the trails had been cleared. He packed a close friend and his son riding double through big boulders, slick rock, deadfall, and even chest-deep lake crossings to get around the thick brush. He never lost his cool and took care of his riders every step of the way. He's also started roping and is showing all the right signs to make a handy ranch horse. He'll have no trouble pulling a steer or doctoring cattle out in the pasture. Hoss is the kind that's getting harder and harder to find—easy to catch, good-minded, sure-footed, and always willing to go to work.
