The young girls at Yoder Equine adore this beautiful, kind-eyed, chromed up red roan.  “Beau” runs to them in the pasture.  The more attention he can get, the happier he is!  They enjoy grooming him and he enjoys it even more!  He stands like a statue, without even a halter on, as they go to work.  He’ll curbside to just about anything, and is very patient as they mount, even if it takes a few minutes for the oldest girl to pull the little one up onto his back.  They ride him all over the farm, single or double.  He’s easy for them to steer, listens to the cues from their small legs, and takes care of them every step of the way.  They often have him standing between their two swings as they swing on the play set.  They throw a huge ball over and under him, sometimes hitting him with it by accident, but he could not care less.  If they need to walk away from him, they will drop the reins or lead line, and he’ll stay right there waiting on them while he may nibble on grass.  Amos rides him while pulling the girls in a wagon behind him.  Always ready for a new task, doesn’t get rattled, and takes a joke, “Beau” will instantly be your best friend as he is the girls of Yoder Equine.

“Beau” is happy to play with the kids but he is also happy to go to work.  He will ride bridle-less with ease, in an English saddle, Western saddle, or bareback.  He has nice collection or will ride on a loose rein, handy in the arena and confident on the trails, is light in the mouth and moves off leg pressure easily.  He will go over, through, or under anything on a trail with any level rider and is comfortable around bull whips, flags, balls, tarps, and any obstacle.  He has done ranch work including pushing cows in a pasture and checking fences.  He learns things very quickly, will lie down on command, and will do whatever is asked of him.  He doesn’t say no!
